    High School History Teacher
Where are you from? I am from Sioux Center, Iowa. I lived there for 22 years before moving here.  What was your school like growing up? The schools I went to growing up were all Christian schools K-College. They were fantastic Christian schools and really had good education as well as extra curricular activities.  Why do you like teaching history? I love teaching history because of how many different topics it covers. In history you touch on math, sociology, psychology, engineering, science, culture, law, literature, music, etc. History is the culmination of all those things and that's what makes it so great.  What do you like to do when you aren’t teaching? When I'm not teaching and I have recreational time I am working out, playing card/board games, watching movies, or going disc golfing.  What’s your favorite Bible story and why? My favorite Bible story is David and Goliath. I like the idea of a smaller person in the right defeating a giant person in the wrong, and the bravery that David had which his brothers and the rest of the Israelites lacked. What’s your favorite snack? My favorite snack would have to be goldfish. I can't get enough of them.
